Winter has arrived at SADE, and we're unveiling changes.
At SADE, we want to announce that HR has been streamlined to focus more on administrative management, and we've decided to shift towards managing the talent of each and every person who contributes to SADE every day.
On one hand, Human Talent refers to the skills and abilities that employees and collaborators bring to a company to generate added value. In contrast, Human Resources are part of the management and administration of tasks such as payroll, vacation tracking, hiring and termination processes, benefits, or any circumstances that affect an employee. Additionally, it's the department responsible for effectively communicating requirements between different levels or departments at SADE.
The management of talent has the following goals:
- Professional development of employees.
Talent management focuses on enhancing employees' experience within a company, with professional development as a top priority. The aim is to stimulate their growth and foster their success, enabling them to contribute their best and be recognized for it. This involves leadership strategies and development training.
- Goal setting.
Human talent management has a highly cross-cutting and long-term strategic focus, whose main objective is to benefit the company by incorporating new competencies and skills from qualified personnel.
- Approach.
Regarding approach, talent management presents a deeper understanding of the benefits, needs, and goals of employees, with the aim of developing comprehensive strategies in various processes such as hiring, recruitment, and retention of personnel. For effective talent management, many techniques require the involvement of coordinators, managers, supervisors, and executives from various departments.
- People management objectives.
Thanks to human talent, companies bridge the gap between required competencies and the availability of employees. Another significant objective of this concept is to improve employee job satisfaction to reduce turnover. These two areas face a series of challenges, such as forming the best human teams. Regarding human talent management, its greatest challenge is to recognize, evaluate, and develop the individual potential of employees. It is a complex task, as it requires a deep understanding of the competencies and skills of the worker.
